What engine oil is everyone putting in the performance SR20DET these days?
antonio replied to s15rocket's topic in General Automotive Chat
The reason your RP is costing so much is 2 reasons imo. 1. Its an imported product. 2. Its not a very popular product in Australia. I normally say stick to your main Australian made oils, within your Top 5 bracket and you should be fine for Price and Quality of product, its pointless to overpay for the overseas oil for no real benefit other than some overseas hype where the company is more popular and they spend more on advertising. My cars runs FUCHS Titan 10w60 and have for years now. -

Save up for gtx2860r gen 2 or just get a cheapo kinugawa, hypergear or mamba?
antonio replied to s15rocket's topic in General Automotive Chat
Hypergear no doubt about it, if you want response Hypergear are the people to deliver it. Non mass manufactured turbos, tested on motors that we actually own and not just on a computer and then produced for the mass. Garrett is a great turbo no doubt about it R&D is great but Hypergear is effectively HKS in Australia, They take a base turbo and then refine it even more to suit a very specific market.- 28 replies

If you have cut your guards, why not just run over fenders instead it will allow you to run even 265's

Based on what you have said and the fact they had to chop the knuckle to fit their suspension you should be taking this up legally. Sure you can wipe the aircon install out the window as in the end that was you offering it to them, but in terms of everything else and especially the knuckles that are now useless they should be fessing up to covering costs -

I really think its your subframe bushes, if they are standard well then they are most likely worn down and if you are giving the car abit of stick around corners then its just going to wear them down even more.

Pretty sure he summed it up with the fact hes only selling it in packages.

Leave it with me. I've had a few ideas along this line of compressing down old sections which arent moving as fast, the userbase has reduced but the actual map of the forum is humongous.

Are you saying because it looks like there is a sticker for the VIN? -
Facebook ruined forums, which in turn really imo ruined the automotive scene. I was in alot of fb car groups and in the end i just go out of them, If you thought being a forum mod and having to lock topics and say 'use the search' was annoying to the people who were on the forum for years past and had seen the same question over and over you would not believe how many times ive wanted to punch somebody for asking the same boring question over and over. Im still on a handful of forums and most of them that still have heavy interaction are smaller 100-500 heavy active users, anything that was once HUGE pretty much took a massive decline just as people switched to more instant-on social media, like to put it largely even some youtube video comment pages can see more comments than forums in a single day even big forums. I think the attention span shifted from a forum being a place of discussion thinking before you write your questions/answer and now its purely facebook and youtube quickly fed information and people just posting 'where do these 2 lines go off my turbo' A page that i often laugh at the repetiveness of questions is this - https://www.facebook...46092335574105/ It really wont take you longer than 30seconds to see a post that could be answered by a super simple google search or picking up the phone.
