Sure does... And expect a few if your here for a day.

It might not be that bad, but Its pretty bad esp if your on P's.

I would avoid the fines, defects and fuel costs and go somewhere else.

melb weather is shit as atm, cold, wet and cold..

Bull shit state systems arent linked and never will be. defects dont follow through on interstate cars. (ive had first hand experience in this area(interstate rta didnt know what to do with the form once i passed the roadworthy back in my own state/territory). and most cops wont bother pulling over an interstate car (if they did the worst you'd have to pay is the fine) or talk your way out of it and they'll give you a warning and tell you to fix it when you get back home

dont be afraid to drive your car people. its what they want.

Driving an import is not a crime.

Have a drive up into the dandenongs. take the Tourist route, go up lake mountain/baw baw, great ocean rd (past lourne to apolo bay).

Have had customs cars derego'd due to a defect in sydney.

Only found out 2 months later when we went to change engine numbers on the new motor..

So yes it does transfer from state to state, its up to the cop if they bother with the paper work tho..

I have also a work car in my yard that we got from nsw rego, defected for a cracked window. got it home and it was derego'd as it was 2 days after the set time they gave us to fix it (48 hours) 3 day drive home...

i started a thread about nice roads to cruise on , and it got shut down , according 2 women like cazman having a bitch

about how police target threads on anti social behaviour , threads about wheres good 2 drive are now dangerous and labbelled as hoon behaviour
